Today you will catch the flight to Urumqi. We will meet you at the airport with a welcome board, then bring you to the downtown hotel and check in. Have a good rest.
Today we will drive to the beautiful Fuhai. Before going there, let’s pay a visit to another picturesque place -- Heavenly Lake! It is surrounded by the snow mountains, blooming wildflowers, evergreen pine trees so as to be an ideal resort as you can go there all the year round, enjoy the different view of the lake. Trekking along the lake leisurely or you can explore further to the Maya Mountain by the cable car to enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains and the lake. If you prefer water sports, then boating on the lake will be an excellent idea! Fully connected with the lovely lake by touching the water and appreciating the incredibly beautiful scenery at the same time.
Then continue to drive to Fuhai. Upon arrival, we can enjoy the stunning views of Ulungur Lake, it is an ideal home of migratory birds, famous for its abundance of fish. This wetland park is vast in territory, rich in aquatic products, with the valuable wetland resources, the ecological system is typical, uniqueness and diversity.
Heavenly Lake
Heavenly LakeAfter enjoying your breakfast in the hotel, we will travel to Hemu. It is a Tuwa village nestled in a quiet valley in Kanas, dotted with Tuwa wooden huts and livestock in pens. Hemu village is one of the only three remaining Tuwa villages and also the largest and most remote one. Some people call Tuwans as “a primitive tribe wandering in the depths of Xinjiang”. The morning fog in Hemu is another must-see attraction in Kanas. The fog can be seen almost everyday here, so that it matches different seasons and presents distant charm. Gorgeous sunrise in Hemu is also worth expecting!
Hemu
HemuYour guide and driver will pick you up in the morning for another relaxing day in Hemu Village. After breakfast, you can choose how to spend your morning depending on your interests and the weather.
From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you can enjoy a skiing experience in Hemu and take in the beautiful winter scenery surrounding the village. Whether you are an experienced skier or simply want to experience skiing in northern Xinjiang, the snow-covered mountains and traditional wooden houses create a memorable setting.
If skiing is not your preference, you can take a leisurely walk around Hemu Village instead. Stroll along the quiet village paths, admire the traditional wooden houses, and enjoy views of the snow-covered mountains and surrounding forests. Winter is one of the most peaceful times to experience Hemu, when the village is covered in snow and the pace of life becomes particularly slow and relaxing.
After lunch, enjoy some free time to rest, take photos or explore more of the village at your own pace.
Around 5:00 PM, meet your guide and driver and leave Hemu Village for Kanas Village. The journey takes you through beautiful snow-covered forests and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Kanas, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in this remote mountain village.
Winter
KanasAnother day in the beautiful Kanas Nature Reserve! Today after breakfast, wondering around the Kanas and taking some pictures, when getting warm, you can wear warm cloth and hike through the Wolong Bay, Moon Bay and Immortal Bay, and enjoy the scenery along the way. If you prefer, you can also ride a horse traveling the Three Bays.
After that, we will transfer you to Jiadengyu for overnight stay.
Kanas
KanasToday we will head to Burqin, enjoy the scenery of Five-colored Beach, Walk into the colorful Beach, you will feel as if in a dream world. The unique lava landscape consisted of purplish red, vandyke red, yellow and light green mudstone, sandstone and gravel. this is the most beautiful colorful Beach, masterpiece of nature, and miracle of Burqin.
After visiting, Say farewell to Burqin and travel along the Gurbantunggut Desert to the Urho Ghost City, also known as Wuerhe Wind City", a unique wind-eroded geological area commonly referred to as "wind city" because of the frequent howling winds.
Tonight we will stay at Urho.
Urho
UrhoEnjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then drive you to Urumqi for overnight stay. Upon arrival, the rest time of the day is free for you to have a good rest or you can take a walk in Urumqi downtown.
After breakfast in the hotel, your north Xinjiang tour is about to end, say goodbye to Urumqi and we will transfer you to airport to catch your flight back to your sweet home. Wish you a pleasant journey home!
