Today you will catch the flight to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang. We will meet you at the airport with a welcome board, then bring you to the downtown hotel and check in. Have a good rest. 

In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. You will enjoy the tour of the picturesque Heavenly Lake, 2000m up in the Tianshan mountain range. which is surrounded by the snow mountains, blooming wildflowers, and evergreen pine trees. 40-minute scenic shuttle bus ride that twists through the dramatic mountains. Then you can either walk to the lakeside in 10 minutes or take the electronic cart. There are 3 options suggested. Boating cruise to take the incredible view of Tianshan Mountain. Trekking along the lake in the fresh air. Or you can explore further to the Maya Mountain by the cable car to enjoy the magnificent view of the Mountains. 

Then we will drive to Dushanzi to have a rest.

Drive south from Dushanzi towards Nalati Grassland via the Duku Highway. The scenery along the Duku highway here can only be described as magical. Along the way, you can enjoy the lush Tianshan Mountains, the vast grasslands and the beautiful nomadic style.

Continue our journey to Nalati Grassland this morning.

Descend to the River Valley Grassland, known for its lush pastures, winding rivers, and blooming wildflowers. Here you can enjoy leisurely walks, horseback riding, or simply relax and take in the magnificent scenery.

You will start your journey from the ingenious Kalajun Prairie, which is as beautiful as in a poem or a picture. There are springs densely distributed here. Every year, from May to September. The ideal place for people of the pasture to exchange materials and hold cultural activities. Kalajun, in Kazak, means "a dark wilderness". For generations, people on the grassland have lived a simple nomadic life. The traditional lifestyle exudes a unique charm.

Thereafter, we will go back to Yining in the late afternoon and go to Kazanqi Folk Village, a blue fairy tale town in the city. This village in the hinterland of the Tianshan Mountains is full of colorful Uyghur dwellings. It is a Soviet style with sky blue Color-based, colorful spire houses with wood-carved windows are like walking into Chefchaouen in Morocco.

Next, pay a visit to the Accordion Museum on Liuxing Street. According to reports, the museum has a collection of more than 800 accordions from more than 20 countries, attracting many tourists to take pictures here, and even music lovers come here.

Next, we will enjoy the breathtaking Sayram Lake — often called the "Pearl of the Tianshan Mountains". Appreciate the serene winter scenery with snow-covered shores and crystal-clear waters.

On our way to Sayram Lake, we will cross the spectacular Guozigou Bridge, one of Xinjiang's most iconic engineering marvels. And then we will head to Kuitun.

Today, we will travel along the Gurbantunggut Desert to the Urho Ghost City. It is a vast yardang landform complex covering a total area of over 120 square kilometers. Carved by wind erosion over hundreds of millions of years, it has formed a myriad of castle-like and beast-like rock formations. Especially at sunset, the interplay of light and shadow creates a magical spectacle. It earned the name "Devil City" due to the haunting sound of the howling winds through its structures.

Leave for Kanas from Burqin in the morning, the trip takes about 6 hours. We will go through the Tie-Jia Highway.

When passing through Burqin, we will have an opportunity to visit Five-colored beach. Walking into the colorful Beach, you will feel as if in a dream world. The unique lava landscape consisted of purplish red, vandyke red, yellow, and light green mudstone, sandstone, and gravel. This is the most beautiful, colorful Beach, a masterpiece of nature, and a miracle of Burqin.

After arrival, you can enjoy the light trekking around the Kanas Village or just relax in the natural park: take a leisurely walk, enjoy a quiet coffee break, or wander through the nearby village where local Kazakh families still maintain their traditional nomadic lifestyle. Stop by a local home for a cup of tea — a warm and authentic cultural experience that is both peaceful and memorable.

Morning visit to Baihaba, the "First Village of Northwest China" on the China-Kazakhstan border, with its Tuva wooden houses and golden birch forests. Return to Kanas and ascend the Fish Watching Pavilion for a sweeping panorama of turquoise Kanas Lake ringed by misty peaks. Afterward, enjoy free time strolling the lakeside boardwalk or wandering through serene birch woods.

Today we will have the trekking along the bays, first one is Immortal Bay, where misty forests and calm turquoise waters create a dreamy, fairy-tale atmosphere. Then arrive at Moon Bay, the most iconic spot in Kanas, famous for its graceful S-shaped river bend and ever-changing colors—from emerald to turquoise to golden. Finally, stop at Dragon Bay, known for its dragon-shaped sandbar formed by years of water erosion. After exploring the Three Bays, continue the journey to the peaceful Hemu Village, surrounded by birch forests and traditional Tuva wooden houses.

Set out from the rustic village of Hemu in the morning for a scenic drive along the picturesque Ahe Highway to Altay City. This route offers stunning visual transitions as you descend from the deep forests and alpine meadows of the Kanas region, passing through the rugged, rolling hills of the northern Xinjiang landscape. The journey is an attraction in itself, ideal for leisurely stops at various viewpoints to capture the changing seasonal colors—vibrant greens in summer or golden hues in autumn—before arriving in the more developed regional hub of Altay by early afternoon.

After breakfast, take an unforgettable ride to Urumqi by driving along the S21 Highway, which offers one of China's most scenic drives, with stunning views of mountains, grasslands, rivers, and valleys unfolding at every turn.

The capital city of Xinjiang is the farthest land from any ocean. It is the heaven of travelers for its delicious local cuisine, profound cultural deposits, and special local customs and practices. Start the trip off with the 2-3 hours driving to Turpan, passing by the wind power station, which is the largest one in Asia spreading at the foot of Tianshan Mountain. Following a glimpse of Salt Lake in Dabancheng. We'll be amazed by the historical sites and the oasis land of Turpan. 

A must and first visit is the scenery of Jiaohe Ruins with a history of 2,300 years, which lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was included in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014. 

Today we'll be amazed by the historical sites and oasis land of Turpan. A must and first visit is the oldest Uyghur village, Tuyoq Village, located in the very center of Flaming Mountain Canyon. It used to be the holy site of Buddhism and Islam. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Thousand Buddha Caves, Maza tomb, and the old buildings of the ancient village. 

Then we will head to the Karez Well, which is a special kind of irrigation system, here you can not only visit this ancient irrigation system, but also get rid of the heat of summer. 

Turpan is called the Hometown of Grapes. Lying to the northeast of the city, we will explore the Grape Valley, which is a peaceful haven for those who love fruits. 

As the day draws to a close, your driver will ensure a smooth and restful drive back to Urumqi. Sit back, unwind, and let the memories of Turpan's timeless oasis gently accompany you home.

After breakfast, your private transfer is arranged according to your flight. The driver arrives 10 minutes early to assist with luggage and gently reminds you to check your passport, ID, wallet, phone, and personal belongings.

Enjoy a smooth drive to Urumqi Diwopu Airport. The driver drops you at the departure entrance and directs you to the check-in counter. We recommend arriving at least 2 hours before departure for a relaxed experience.
