Museum of Bayangol Mongol Autonomous Prefecture


Museum of Bayangol Mongol Autonomous Prefecture Situated in Korla City, the museum of the Bayangol Mongol Autonomous Prefecture was established in 1990, with an exhibition area of 840 square meters. On display in the museum are more than 600 pieces of the cultural relics of the Stone Age through the Song Dynasty, taking that of the Han to Tang Dynasties as the dominant part. Among them the unearthed cultural relics from the Chawuhugou Cemetery and the Loulan Site are most noticeable. In the museum there are special exhibition rooms, such as exhibition of cultural relics from Loulan Site, exhibition of cultural relics from Zagunluk Cemetery, and etc.
