Today we will drive 3hrs to visit the oldest Uyghur village Tuyugou Mazha Village located in the very center of Flaming Mountain Canyon. It used to be the holy site of Buddhism and Islam. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Thousand Buddha Caves, Maza tomb and the old buildings of the ancient village.

Then you will pay a visit to Karez Well, A special irrigation system that the locals make full use of the topography of Turpan to draw the underground water to irrigate their farmland ingeniously. The tour today end up to enjoy the scenery of Jiaohe Ruins with a history of 2,300 years lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was include in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014. After visiting, transfer to Urumqi and Check in hotel for rest upon arrival.

Begin your 15-Day tour by visiting Heavenly Lake. You can spend several hours strolling around the stunning alpine lake, enjoying optional boat rides, and taking photos of the clear water and surrounding snow-capped peaks before heading to Kuitun.

Embark on a full-day adventure from Urumqi by taking the scenic S101 Provincial Highway toward Kuitun, bypassing the faster major expressways for a more visually spectacular route. This journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours by car, winding through the "Tianshan Geological Gallery", a remarkable landscape defined by dramatic red rock canyons, unique yardang landforms, and vast grasslands dotted with Kazakh yurts and grazing livestock.

Drive south from Kuitun towards the Tangbula Grassland via the Duku Highway. The journey takes roughly 4 hours and is known as the "Tangbula Hundred-Mile Scenic Gallery". The route offers a magnificent transition from Tianshan canyons to expansive alpine meadows, featuring a tapestry of snow-capped mountains, rivers, forests, and Kazakh yurts.

After arriving in Tangbula Grassland, immersing yourself in the pristine natural environment of the Tianshan alpine meadows. You can explore the "Hundred-Mile Scenic Gallery" along the Kashi River, where they can enjoy horseback riding through valleys and interacting with local Kazakh nomads. The journey offers an opportunities to witness dramatic landscapes of snow-capped mountains, forests, and fields of wildflowers.

After visiting, heading to Nalati Grassland.

Spend the whole day exploring the Nalati Grassland, visiting both the Nalati Air Prairie and the River Valley Grassland.

In the morning, head to the higher Nalati Air Prairie, where endless alpine meadows stretch beneath snow-capped peaks, dotted with yurts and grazing herds of horses and sheep.

Then, descend to the River Valley Grassland, known for its lush pastures, winding rivers, and blooming wildflowers. Here you can enjoy leisurely walks, horseback riding, or simply relax and take in the magnificent scenery.

Today’s highlight is to enjoy the breathtaking Sayram Lake — often called the “Pearl of the Tianshan Mountains”. Appreciate the serene winter scenery with snow-covered shores and crystal-clear waters.

We will have lunch in Yining and have a short visit in Liuxingjie Street.

On our way to Sayram Lake, we will cross the spectacular Guozigou Bridge, one of Xinjiang’s most iconic engineering marvels.

Today, we'll head to visit the Urho Ghost City from Sayram Lake, which is also known as "Wuerhe Wind City", a unique wind-eroded geological area commonly referred to as "wind city" because of the frequent howling winds.

Leave for Kanas from Urho in the morning, the trips takes about 6 hours.

After arrival you can enjoy the light trekking around the Kanas Village or just relax in the natural park: take a leisurely walk, enjoy a quiet coffee break, or wander through the nearby village where local Kazakh families still maintain their traditional nomadic lifestyle. Stop by a local home for a cup of tea — a warm and authentic cultural experience that is both peaceful and memorable.

Start your morning with a peaceful walk through the forested trails leading up to the Fish Watching Pavilion, the most iconic viewpoint of Kanas. As you ascend, the path winds through dense Siberian spruce and Swiss-like alpine scenery. From the top, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of Kanas Lake—a shimmering turquoise ribbon surrounded by rolling mountains and misty pine forests. This is one of the best spots to feel the scale and serenity of the Altai landscape.

After coming down, take your time to explore the lake area at your own pace. You may: Stroll along the lakeside boardwalk, where the calm waters mirror the changing colors of the sky and surrounding forests; or wander deeper into the birch forests, where sunlight filters through golden leaves and the air smells of fresh pine.

Today we will have the trekiing along the bays, first one is Immortal Bay, where misty forests and calm turquoise waters create a dreamy, fairy-tale atmosphere. Then arrive at Moon Bay, the most iconic spot in Kanas, famous for its graceful S-shaped river bend and ever-changing colors—from emerald to turquoise to golden. Finally, stop at Dragon Bay, known for its dragon-shaped sandbar formed by years of water erosion. After exploring the Three Bays, continue the journey to the peaceful Hemu Village, surrounded by birch forests and traditional Tuva wooden houses.

In the morning, you can walk to the Hemu Viewing Platform to enjoy the stunning sunrise and sea of clouds over the village. The morning mist, golden birch forests and scattered wooden houses form a picturesque fairyland. You may also stroll along the Hemu River, take photos by the clear water and wooden bridges, and experience the peaceful scenery of northern Xinjiang.

At noon, you can taste local specialties such as grilled lamb, milk tea and dried fruits at restaurants or homestays in Hemu Village. In the afternoon, you can freely wander in the village, visit the traditional Kazakh wooden houses, ride horses along the river, or relax in a café to enjoy the slow time. Before sunset, you can climb the viewing platform again to enjoy the gorgeous dusk glow covering the whole Hemu.

Set out from the rustic village of Hemu in the morning for a scenic drive along the picturesque Ahe Highway to Altay City. This route offers stunning visual transitions as you descend from the deep forests and alpine meadows of the Kanas region, passing through the rugged, rolling hills of the northern Xinjiang landscape. The journey is an attraction in itself, ideal for leisurely stops at various viewpoints to capture the changing seasonal colors—vibrant greens in summer or golden hues in autumn—before arriving in the more developed regional hub of Altay by early afternoon.

After breakfast, take an unforgettable ride to Urumqi by driving along the S21 Highway, which offers one of China’s most scenic drives, with stunning views of mountains, grasslands, rivers, and valleys unfolding at every turn.
