The first day is designed to challenge and inspire, as you ride from the outskirts into the mountains, passing through dense forests and breathtaking valleys. Along the way, you'll experience the thrill of galloping through open spaces, with the stunning beauty of Kuerdening gradually unfolding before your eyes. A light lunch will be provided en route to keep you energized.
By afternoon, you'll arrive at the Kuerdening Kafeng Ranch Resort Hotel, where a delicious dinner awaits. Relax and recharge, as tomorrow promises even more awe-inspiring scenery.
Kurdening
KurdeningToday, prepare to be mesmerized by the world-renowned Snow Ridge Spruce forests. This is the day you'll truly immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Kuerdening. As you explore the hidden treasures of the spruce forests, you'll feel a deep connection to the pristine environment around you. A light lunch will be provided to keep you fueled for the day's adventures.
In the evening, you'll experience the unique charm of staying with a local herder's family. This is the only night of camping on the trip, and it's an experience not to be missed. While it may not offer the luxury of a resort hotel, it provides an authentic glimpse into the local culture. Enjoy the warmth of the herder's hospitality and savor their homemade lamb skewers, a culinary highlight that will linger in your memory.
Kurdening
KurdeningToday marks the official crossing from Kuerdening to Qiaxi, and it's a day filled with unparalleled beauty. In May, Qiaxi is at its most enchanting, with blue skies, snow-capped mountains, lush forests, and sprawling grasslands creating a dreamlike landscape. You'll take a special mountain route that offers panoramic views of the vast Qiaxi Snow Mountain. If you're feeling adventurous, there will be plenty of opportunities to gallop through this stunning terrain.
Upon arrival in Qiaxi, you'll check in at the Qiaxi Qiajing Resort Base, where a delicious dinner awaits. Reflect on the day's adventures as you prepare for the final leg of your journey.
Qiaxi
QiaxiQiaxi in May is nothing short of magical. Today, you'll have the chance to fully immerse yourself in its beauty. We believe Qiaxi deserves two full days of exploration, and today is all about capturing the essence of this breathtaking landscape. You'll enjoy a full day of horseback riding, with plenty of opportunities to gallop through the layered terrain that makes Qiaxi so iconic.
Many of the horseback riding videos you've seen online were likely filmed here, and today, you'll have the chance to create your own unforgettable footage. After a day of adventure, return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

QiaxiAfter breakfast, we'll transfer you to Yining Airport for your departure. As you bid farewell to your fellow travelers and the stunning landscapes of Kuerdening and Qiaxi, take with you the memories of an unforgettable journey. Our guides are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. And our group tours will be escorted from SRT.
Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
We offer beneficial Cancellation Policy to our customers.
1. 4 to 15 pax in a group (4 pax min, 15 pax max)
2. Typically we will take 600 USD per person as deposit when you book the trip (You can pay the deposit through WeChat/Alipay/bank transfer.)
3. Then the balance will be paid when you arrive. (Note: The balance needs to be paid 7 days before departure if your trip is just in the official Chinese holiday. E.g. Chinese New Year, Labor's Day, National Day)

If you have to cancel your trip for some unexpected reasons, we have the following policies:
1. FULL REFUND at least 15 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as trains, hotels,transportation etc)2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.
If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any government restriction, full refund will be offered.
