Early in the morning, meet you in your hotel and then you will be transferred by car from Bishkek city to Naryn (400 km). The road itself from Bishkek to Naryn is just amazing! You will drive along mountain roads and on the way you will move over few high passes. The highest one is called Dolon pass. It is 3030 meters high above the sea level!

We will visit Burana Tower (minaret from the 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors).

Also you will visit a small local Handicraft Museum. At this place you will get acquainted with nomadic traditions. Then we will meet in the mountains an Eagle hunter and he will show the way he hunts.

You will be possible to meet real nomads who still live in yurts. Yurts are collapsible nomadic dwellings that are made of felt and wood without using a single nail. You will be shocked by the beauty of our mountains that stayed almost untouched till nowadays.

Then we will arrive at Kochkor Village. In there you will have lunch with a local family and find out more about Kyrgyz people. They will show you the way our national felt carpets are produced. You even can create your own carpet together with them! 

After breakfast we start our way to be at the Kyrgyz-Chinese border at 12 o’clock. Have a  brief stop at Tash Rabat caravanserai. The road will go along mountain gorges in the most remote areas of Kyrgyzstan. This region is the most famous one among shepherds. It has the best grass for cattle and the cleanest air. On the entire route you will enjoy views of our unbelievable nature!

Your Chinese guide will wait for you at the border and bring you to the downtown Kashgar. Have a good rest!

Today is free for you to explore Kashgar at your own pace. You may choose to wander through the atmospheric lanes of the Old Town, relax in a traditional Uyghur teahouse, or browse the colorful local markets filled with handicrafts, spices, carpets, dried fruits, and musical instruments. For photography lovers, the narrow alleys, mud-brick houses, and lively street scenes offer endless opportunities to capture the charm of the ancient Silk Road city.

You can also enjoy some local specialties such as hand-pulled noodles, roasted lamb skewers, naan bread, or fresh pomegranate juice while experiencing the unique blend of Central Asian and Uyghur culture.

Today meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby, then we will do full day Kashgar city excursion. we will visit the Id Kah Mosque, the largest Mosque in China and the most sacred mosque for the locals to practise their Islamic activities. around 10:30 we have to visit the Kashgar Old Town when the open ceremony ready to greeting all the tourists with the culture show, further exploration to the special culture and experience the lifestyle. Following a lunch in the local restaurant, continue the tour to the Abakh Hoja Tomb, which is the holiest place in Xinjiang and an architectural treasure. Kashgar city tour ends with the wandering to the bustling Handicraft street, dazzling jewelry, primitive pottery,unique musical instrument, daily resources of the locals. 

Morning we will pay a visit to the famous Sunday bazaar, The outdoor Animal Bazaar is the first bazaar we visit, where the farmers and buyers arriving by donkey cart, truck, bicycle, horseback, motorbike or on foot, with their animals. It's loud, lively and cheerful as they arrive. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Morning driving on the China and Pakistan Highway. You can enjoy the magnificent Bulunkol Lake also known as Baisha Mountain (White Sand Mountain) is located in the Pamir Plateau, a large plateau in the Pamir mountain range at an altitude of about 3500 to 5000m with mountains up to more than 7000m, located next to the Karakoram Highway, so it is one of the must stop spot on the way to Karakul lake and Taxkorgan. This view shows the central part of the plateau from the southeast covering Tajikistan in the center, Eastern China on the right and Afghanistan as well as northern Pakistan on the foreground left. then drive to Taxkorgan County for overnight stay.

Visit the Stone Fortress. The city is oval in shape and the city walls were built with sun-dried bricks on stone foundation. It is 1285 metres in circumference outside. Over the past few years, new wooden pathways have been constructed to allow tourist to walk these beautiful grasslands, known as the Golden Grassland.

Today, We will head to last scenic spot—Panlong Ancient Road, which is not for the faint of heart or anyone prone to motion sickness. The winding road to the summit is known as the Pamir Plateau Sky Road, Pamir Sky Road, and Wacha Road. It’s 36km (22 miles) long and opened in July 2019 to facilitate the passage through the Pamirs for the region's mountain farmers and herdsmen. From here you can get even better photos of the Stone Fortress. Thereafter, we will drive back to Kashgar. On the way, we will experience beautiful Karakul Lake where the herds of livestock around the lakeside are reflected in lake Kirghiz herdsmen usually settle down and graze their herds. The following day will be spent exploring the stunning landscape surrounding the highway.

Today meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby, then begin your journey towards Shipton's Arch, also known as Toshuk Tagh, one of the world’s largest natural stone arches hidden among the rugged mountains near Kashgar. Along the way, enjoy the dramatic desert and canyon scenery of western Xinjiang. After exploring the area and taking photos of the spectacular landscape, continue driving to Yarkant for overnight stay. Upon arrival, you may take a leisurely walk around the old town area and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this ancient Silk Road oasis city.

Today will be one of the unforgettable experiences as we will drive to Yarkant, stroll around the Yarkant Intangible Cultural Heritage Park and pay a visit to the Yarkant King Tombs.

Mainly inhabited by Turkic-speaking Muslims, this city has more than 120 mosques. The Uygurs are excellent at dancing. The "12 Mukams" (opera) is an epic comprising more than 340 classic songs and folk dances. After liberation, this musical treasure, which was on the verge of being lost, was collected, studied and recorded by Amannisha who was the concubine of Yarkant King.

After visiting, soaking yourself into the Yarkant Old Town to explore more about the local lifestyle.

Then in the afternoon, we will drive to Hotan to enjoy the performance in Yotkan Ancient Town. Have a good night!

Today you will explore the rich culture and history of Hotan, one of the most important oasis cities along the ancient Silk Road. Begin with a visit to the Hotan Museum (closed on Mondays), where you can learn about the history of the ancient Kingdom of Khotan, Silk Road trade, Buddhism, jade culture, and local ethnic traditions through its fascinating collections of relics and artifacts.

Afterwards, stroll through traditional Uyghur neighbourhoods and the famous grape trellis corridors, where shaded walkways, mud-brick houses, and lively local life create an authentic atmosphere of southern Xinjiang. Continue to the Jiya Ancient Atlas Silk Factory to witness the traditional handcrafting process of colorful Atlas silk, one of the cultural symbols of Uyghur textile art.

Later, visit the legendary King of Walnut Tree, an ancient giant walnut tree believed to be over a thousand years old, standing as a living witness to the long history of the Silk Road oasis.

This wonderful day will start from visiting Rawak Buddhist Temple Ruins, which is a temple building site centered on a pagoda. On both sides of the courtyard wall, there are exquisite Buddha and Bodhisattva statues, as well as a large number of smaller auxiliary images and relief decorations. There are also a few murals on the courtyard wall. This site is a rare and important material for studying ancient Buddhism, temple forms, and sculpture art in Xinjiang.

Then drive through Taklamakan Desert Highway to Alaer, which means "green island" in Uyghur language. Enjoy the vast expanse of the desert along the way and feel the magnificence of nature!

Good morning! Today we will drive about 3 hours to Kuqa. Our first stop is the Tianshan Great Canyon, which is an excellent geological park all over the world. It recorded the whole process of crustal movement in Xinjiang during the past 400 million years. 

Also to see Salt Water Valley – geological rock forest. Ending the visit to Tianshan Great Canyon, then have a silent conversation with Kizil Grottoes and listen to its stories. Among four grottoes in China, it is the oldest one, but many architectures and murals are still in well preservation. Here, you will learn more about the culture and history of Buddhism and ancient Qiuci Kingdom.

Morning excursion starts from crossing the first desert highway in China about 2hrs, which was the center of the ancient Silk Road, and is now the main place for oil exploration and development. Then discover more in the Populus Euphratica Forest. The tree is extremely tenacious and resistant to drought and alkali, so it is also called "Desert Hero Tree". There is an old saying that people do not know the beauty of Populus euphratica until they arrive at Luntai, or the brilliance of life until they see the Populus euphratica.

A new day begins with a scenic journey across the magnificent Tianshan Mountains. Driving along the foothills of the mountains, you will enjoy ever-changing landscapes of rugged cliffs, vast valleys, desert scenery, and distant snow-capped peaks, offering a memorable glimpse of the natural beauty of central Xinjiang.

After arriving in Korla, known as the “City of Pears” and the “City of Petroleum,” we will visit the historic Iron Gate Pass, an important strategic gateway along the ancient Silk Road for centuries. Surrounded by dramatic canyon scenery, the pass once connected travelers and merchants between northern and southern Xinjiang.

In the evening, take a relaxing walk along the beautiful Peacock River, where locals gather for dancing, music, exercise, and evening leisure. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the daily lifestyle and modern atmosphere of Korla city.

Bid farewell to Korla today. This morning we will drive to Turpan. On arrival, please enjoy the sunset of Jiaohe Ruins with a history of 2,300 years. It lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. As one of the best preserved ancient ruins in China, it was included into the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014.Then Visit Karez irrigation system to witness the wisdom of Uygur people. The irrigation system is especially designed for desert. If connecting all these underground channels, the total length will reach more than 5000 km, so it is regarded as one of the three engineering miracles of ancient China, along with the Great Wall and the Jinghang Grand Canal.

Start your day after breakfast! A must and first visit is the oldest Uyghur village, Tuyugou Village, located in the very center of Flaming Mountain Canyon. It used to be the holy site of Buddhism and Islam. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Thousand Buddha Caves, Mazar tomb and some old buildings. Then continue the visiting to Gaochang Ancient City Ruins and Astana Ancient Tombs. In the afternoon back to Turpan and visit the Turpan Museum.

Start your day after breakfast! Today we will drive to Urumqi, the vibrant capital city of Xinjiang. Upon arrival, we will visit the Urumqi Cultural Center, where you can gain a deeper understanding of the diverse ethnic cultures, traditional arts, music, costumes, and history of Xinjiang through various exhibitions and art displays.

Later, continue to the famous Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi and one of the most iconic landmarks of the Silk Road. Here you can wander through the lively market streets filled with colorful handicrafts, carpets, musical instruments, dried fruits, spices, local snacks, clothing, and souvenirs. The bustling atmosphere and unique architecture make it a perfect place to experience the multicultural charm of Xinjiang.
