Heavenly Lake Tour

110 kilometers from Urumqi, the Heavenly Lake is a long and narrow gourd-shaped moraine lake, 3400 meters long, about 1500 meters wide, 105 meters at the deepest point, with an average depth of 40 meters, covering an area of about 5.9 square kilometers. There are eight beautiful scenic spots in the lake scenic area, they are “A Ray of Stone Gate”, “Dragon's Pool and Green Moon”, “Magic Needle for Guarding the See”, “Three Stones Bearing the Sky”, “the Snowcapped Southern Mountain”, “Pine Billows in Western Mountain”, “the Hanging Waterfall”, and the “Sea Peak's Sunrise”.
After breakfast, Enjoy a day visit to the Heavenly Lake. You can Cruise on the Heavenly Lake and visit the local kazak pepole family.
Heavenly Lake: The lake is 1900 meters above sea level and got its fame as the “jewel in the crown”. It is particularly refreshing for travelers arriving in Urumqi from the barren deserts of Xinjiang. To the east of the lake stands the Bogda Peak-the highest peak in the east part of Tian Shan Mountain, which is capped by glacier and snow glistening in the sun, finely contrasted with blue lake water, forming a fabulous scenery.

TRIP NOTES

We will upgrade trains to 1st class where available if book the tour 5 months in advance of departure.
There is no problem to travel Silk Road during Ramadan.
Complimentary 2 bottles of water each person on daily use.

Our guides are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. And our group tours will be escorted from SRT.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.

We offer beneficial Cancellation Policy to our customers.

Payment and Deposit

1. 4 to 15 pax in a group (4 pax min, 15 pax max)

2. Typically we will take 600 USD per person as deposit when you book the trip (You can pay the deposit through WeChat/Alipay/bank transfer.)

3. Then the balance will be paid when you arrive. (Note: The balance needs to be paid 7 days before departure if your trip is just in the official Chinese holiday. E.g. Chinese New Year, Labor's Day, National Day)

Our cancellation policies are very friendly.
If you have to cancel your trip for some unexpected reasons, we have the following policies:
1. FULL REFUND at least 15 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as trains, hotels,transportation etc)2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.
If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any government restriction, full refund will be offered.
