Today your flight will touch down in Kashgar. Upon arrival, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer to the hotel check in. Have a good rest.

Driving on the China and Pakistan Highway. You can enjoy the magnificent Bulongkol Lake also known as Baisha Mountain (White Sand Mountain) is located in the Pamir Plateau, a large plateau in the Pamir mountain range at an altitude of about 3500 to 5000m with mountains up to more than 7000m, located next to the Karakoram Highway, so it is one of the must stop spot on the way to Karakul lake and Taxkorgan. This view shows the central part of the plateau from the southeast covering Tajikistan in the center, Eastern China on the right and Afghanistan as well as northern Pakistan on the foreground left. Experience beautiful Karakul Lake where the herds of livestock around the lakeside are reflected in lake Kirghiz herdsmen usually settle down and graze their herds. 

Today you will visit the Stone Fortress. The city is oval in shape and the city walls were built with sun-dried bricks on stone foundation. It is 1285 metres in circumference outside. Over the past few years, new wooden pathways have been constructed to allow tourist to walk these beautiful grasslands, known as the Golden Grassland. From here you can get even better photos of the Stone Fortress. Thereafter, we will drive back to Kashgar.

Today’s trip starts from Kashgar downtown. Begin your morning with a visit to the Sunday Bazaar (Kashgar Grand Bazaar), the largest and most vibrant traditional market in Central Asia. After exploring the bazaar, proceed to the Apakh Hoja Tomb (Xiangfei Tomb), the largest and most influential Islamic burial place in Xinjiang and a key cultural relic under autonomous region protection. Next, visit the Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China and the most sacred site for local Uyghurs to practice their Islamic faith, where you can admire its grand courtyard and solemn prayer hall.

Later in the day, you will be transferred to the airport to catch the flight to Kuqa, and arriving in the evening to have a good rest comfortably in your hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to the Tianshan Grand Canyon, also known as Keziliya Grand Canyon, is a canyon near Keziliy a Mountain (a branch of Tianshan Mountain) formed by wind the rain over billions of years.

Then, we will head to visit Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves. The murals there are reputed as "The most beautiful murals in Central Asia". Besides the themes of Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhat, Flying apsaras, and Buddhist fables, a variety of depictions on production and daily life, farming, hunting, pastures, riding, mountains and rivers in the West Region, animals, birds and ancient architectures can also be seen in the Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves.

After breakfast, we will continue the tour to stroll aropund the Kuqa Old Town, say hello to the kids who are playing, Wander along the cobblestone streets lined with traditional adobe houses, where children chase each other through the alleys and elders sit under leafy mulberry trees, sharing stories over tea. Taste the local cuisine, Kuqa Old Town will make you have an unforgettable memory.

After having lunch we will move to Kuqa Qiuci Airport and take a flight to Lanzhou. The flight will carry you across the vast landscapes of western China. Upon landing, you can choose to wander the vibrant night streets of Lanzhou, exploring the bustling night markets for local snacks like Lanzhou beef noodles and sweet fermented rice, or return to your hotel for a peaceful rest after a day of cultural discovery.

Breakfast in the hotel, and take high-speed train from Lanzhou to Zhangye. After arrival, take public transport or a taxi to Pingshanhu Grand Canyon and spend about 3 hours exploring the spectacular Danxia landform, walking through the unique canyon trails and enjoying the magnificent natural scenery. After the visit, return to Zhangye urban area for dinner and check in to your hotel for overnight stay.

In the morning, head to the Zhangye Colorful Danxia Scenic Area, widely known as the "Rainbow Mountains" for its stunning layered red, orange, yellow and purple sandstone landforms. Spend the morning exploring the core viewing platforms, capturing the vivid color bands that stretch across the rolling hills—best appreciated in the soft morning light for photography.

After a leisurely lunch featuring local Zhangye specialties, transfer to Zhangye West Railway Station. Upon arrival, transfer to the desert glamping site on the edge of the Gobi Desert. Enjoy the magical desert sunset as the sky turns gold and pink over the sand dunes. In the evening, experience authentic desert glamping: savour a BBQ dinner under a sky full of stars, listen to the quiet of the desert with stars dotted in the sky.

Our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in the early morning, then drive to Mogao Grottoes, where you can enjoy the magnificent grottoes and mural art, and learn the history of Buddhism in Dunhuang through explanation and film display, which is the best option for tourists to visit Dunhuang. Afterwards, continue the tour to Echoing Sand Mountain. When there is wild wind, the sands will be blown up and make a loud sound, while the sound sounds like being produced by some ancient musical instrument when blown by the breeze. There is also a Crescent Lake that has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand.

In the evening, we will stroll around the Shazhou Night Market, where is a distinctive local attraction, you can taste the local cuisine and relax here. In addition to local specialties, there are many handicrafts waiting for you to discover.

Today you will say farewell to Dunhuang, we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back to your sweet home.It has been a great holiday and we look forward to seeing you another China trip.
