Scenery of the Guozigou Gully


Guozigou, also known as "Taleqi Darshan" or "Taleqi Mountain Gorge", is located 40 kilometers northeast of Huocheng County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is a famous canyon and borehole with a total length of about 28 kilometers, which can reach the Sayram Lake in the north and connects to the Ili River Valley in the south.

Guozigou's geography is unique and rich in natural resources. Along the general direction of the Wu - Yi highway, is the northern route of the ancient Silk Road in Xinjiang. In the dense mountain forest, there are many rabbits, foxes, wolves, bears, wild boars, deer and other animals and birds, forming a very elegant environment of the natural zoo.
