King of Fig Trees

King of Fig Trees In the government courtyard of Laykah Township, Hotan County, there is a fig tree about 4 meters high and 150 years old. It bears 14000-15000 fruits every year and is called the“King of Fig Trees”.

The fig is called "Anjur" in Uyghur, which means the sweetened steamed bun grown in the tree. It is also called Fruit of Mystery because its flower is hidden in the trous. Its big bright yellow fruit can improve your body and orain and prolong life, which is praised as an "immortal fruit" on earth.
