Wupu Cemetery

Wupu Cemetery Located 2 kilometers to the northwest of Wupu Township, Hami City, the cemetery includes 113 tombs of about 3,200 years ago. These tombs are all rectangular shaft earth pots. Some occupants of the tombs have become mummies. The burial objects are mainly woolen clothing, pieces of pottery, bronze ware, wooden articles and foods. Now it is listed as a major cultural site under the autonomous region protection.
